Working with Eileen Malaniff and Akvile Simans on the giant puppet for Saint Bridget’s Day was a great experience. We had just three weeks to deliver, and it was Eileen’s idea to create a giant puppet that got us - and the wider community - on board straight away. We sourced donated materials from people around us and slowly transformed them into something magical. It was a huge build in a very short space of time. The collaboration worked because everyone listened to one another and stayed open to suggestions and different areas of expertise. In the end, the puppet turned out far more powerful and bigger than I think any of us imagined at the start.

Projects

Click below to explore the projects. These works move between performance, sculpture, and socially engaged practice. Some emerge from personal experience, while others unfold through collaboration with communities and public spaces. Together they explore how bodies, materials, and collective actions can shape meaning. At times intimate and reflective, at other moments outward-facing and participatory, the works respond to specific contexts and encounters. Sculpture becomes a stage, performance becomes a form of listening, and social exchange becomes part of the artwork itself—where private questions and public dialogue intersect.
